MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS TECHNOLOGY

MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS TECHNOLOGY

Why Is It Important?

Medical diagnosis technology is a tool that helps us understand our health conditions, given the current health-threatening environment, including epidemics, air pollution, PM2.5 dust, accumulated stress, poor diet, and insufficient rest. These factors contribute to various diseases, such as office syndrome, obesity, and cancer. Prioritizing health awareness and regular check-ups can reduce the risk of diseases and facilitate health assessments. Early detection of abnormalities that may signal future serious illnesses allows for timely intervention and treatment.

Medical Diagnosis Services

Wincell Research provides medical diagnosis services using standardized medical biotechnology, supported by published researches and comprehensive databases to deliver reliable health assessments and diagnosis.

Our medical diagnosis services are categorized into three main areas:

1. Immune Cell Analysis:

Analysis for Natural Killer (NK) Cell Count, NK Cell Activity,
T Cell : (CD3+/CD4+/CD8+ cell count ) and Regulatory T (Treg) Cell Count.

This analysis examines Natural Killer (NK) cells and T cells, which play a crucial role in eliminating foreign bodies and maintaining immune system balance. It determines whether these cells are present in adequate numbers and functioning normally, indicating the immune system’s effectiveness in combating foreign bodies and pathogens. It can also reveal potential risks for diseases such as cancer and autoimmune disorders.

  • NK CELL ACTIVITY

Analyzes the ability of NK cells to destroy cancer cells using Microfluorometry, a direct measurement of NK cell function.

  • NK CELL COUNT

Measures the number of NK cells in circulation using Flow Cytometry. The NK cell count indicates the balance of the immune system and its capacity to eliminate foreign bodies.

  • CD3+/CD4+/CD8+CELL COUNT

Analyzes the number of T cells in circulation using Flow Cytometry. T cells are essential for the Adaptive Immune System, specifically destroying foreign bodies through learned recognition of antigens presented by other immune cells.

  • REGULATORY T CELL COUNT

Analyzes the number of Regulatory T cells in circulation using Flow Cytometry. Treg cells monitor and regulate immune cell function, preventing them from attacking normal cells and ensuring proper immune responses. The Treg cell count is crucial for indicating immune system balance.

2. Biological Age Assessment

Telomere Length Analysis

Biological age, or “cell age,” is assessed by measuring telomere length. Telomeres protect genetic material from damage during cell division. Telomeres shorten with each cell division as we age. Generally, shorter telomeres correlate with older chronological age. However, faster telomere shortening may indicate premature aging, and abnormally short telomeres increase the risk of premature cell degeneration. Telomere length also reflects past lifestyle choices and their impact on health.

3. Cancer Risk Assessment

Wincell Research has developed a personalized cancer risk assessment based on behavioral data from questionnaires combined with medical diagnostic results. This assessment informs individuals of their cancer risk level and guides them in prevention or mitigation strategies to reduce the likelihood of developing the disease.
